We've teamed up with Palisades High School Soccer to fundraise with all the proceeds going back to Pali High Soccer! The teams have suffered not only the loss of their school, many players lost their homes but also the loss of their home field. They are fundraising to be able to pay to rent fields to play on, replace all of the uniforms and soccer gear that was lost in the fires. Help us help them!

We are having a special event TODAY from 2pm-3:30pm where the soccer team will be there to show off their fundraising swag that is available to preorder and will deliver in early January.

We invite all soccer players and AYSO players to come and meet the Pali High Soccer team! Get your jersey autographed and take pictures with the team!

As you know, we created this business to serve our Palisades community. We are here to show support for everyone, fellow businesses, schools and community organizations. Our goal is to bring the community together, whether it be through our products, our services, or our community involvement. Supporting our community feels good to us, and that's why we do it. We are so thankful and grateful for all the support that the community has showed us the past three years and we hope to continue for years to come. So we just wanted to say thank you for supporting the Palisades Gift Shop. We may be a small business but we are here to have a large impact.

This year Palisades Gift Shop is happy to be a drop off location for Palisades Girl Scout Troop 9705, fifth graders from Palisades Elementary, who are hosting a toy drive for Happy Trails, a summer and winter camp for foster kids created by lifelong Palisadians.

Each year Troop 9705 buys toys and wraps them for kids in the foster care system. This year we are asking the public to help donate toys to Happy Trails, which has been providing Summer and Winter camp experiences for Foster care children for 13 years. The camp was founded by longtime Palisadian, Pepper Edmiston, and her family. Pepper's only daughter (of 7 children), Sue Abrams, is one of the leaders of Troop 9705 and also an attorney for children in foster care. Sue, like her children now, went through the Palisades public school system, first Palisades Charter Elementary, then Paul Revere and graduating from Palisades Charter High School.She went on to attend Berkeley and Harvard Law, and came back home to give back to her community. Both Pepper and Sue lost their homes in the Palisades fire along with most of the girls in Troop 9705.

Palisades Gift Shop is happy to support their cause and serving as the drop off location for the Toy Drive with the girls from Troop 9705 on Sunday, December 14th from 10 am - 1 pm at our pop up location, 2528 San Vicente Blvd.

Please bring new, unwrapped toys, games, books, clothing and accessories for children ages 7-17,. No used items please. Happy Trails has also made wish lists for items most requested from the kids. If you aren't able to make it to our Toy Drive, you can also donate directly to Happy Trails in the following ways:

Coast and Canyon is a Santa Monica based company, owned by Kellie Logsdon, a mixed media artist specializing in decoupage, acrylics, and metallics. After the fire she created a special Palisades Collection and we are so excited to now be carrying this line.

Her signature style combines traditional techniques with a coastal aesthetic, transforming ordinary seashells into extraordinary pieces of art. Each hand-decorated item is a one-of-a-kind keepsake and celebration of ocean life, from ethereal oyster shell ornaments and sea scallop ring dishes to blessing beads and beach-inspired home decor.

This year is no different, despite losing our store and rebuilding from scratch we still want to give back to our community.

We set out to raise money with our Palisades Strong sweatshirt and Palisades Forever tote with 20% of the profit going to Palisades Elementary Fire Fund.

In addition, we continue to attend events where we give back a percentage of our profits to a variety of recipients. This month we were able to hand out checks to several companies to help in fire relief, including:

Palisades Charter Elementary $2,000
Methodist Preschool $1,400

We are always here for our community and if you would like to partner with us to raise money, please reach out.

Is anyone else feeling the big wave of emotion? I needed to see this today, and it gave me hope. #pacificpalisades

I found this photo I took of a framed map of the Palisades in my phone while looking for some old pics. It was framed at @palisadesvetdc and I saw it while taking my dog to the vet. Zoom in to find your street! It’s pretty cool to see it all like this. I bet you didn’t know the Palisades goes all the way to Allenford where Paul Revere is! #pacificpalisades. DM me if you want a clearer pic, it got grainy after I posted it.

We took our Palisades Elementary 4th grade girls to @palisadesgardencafe today as a special treat after school. We got to see a few of our friends who moved away but were back for a visit. The kids laughed like old times, the moms chatted like old times. We totally forgot about the fire until we walked back outside. Then to our surprise we saw @rickcarusola grabbing some coffee. It was a fun day. #palisadesforever

I went into town today. I usually drive around once week. I go and check on the progress of our house, check on the town, stop by the gas station to grab a snack. Today I saw a lot of progress, in particular the first commercial lots that I’ve seen cleared including the one that housed my shop, 845 Via De La Paz.

There are currently 500 houses cleared in the Palisades, come July there will be 5000 according to the Army Corps that came to a town hall at Palisades Elementary this week. It will be a whole new world by August. 🫶#palisadesgiftshop #palisadesforever
